October 18, 2016 in the URTS "Gorlitsa" (Dnipro) held a festive opening of the socio-economic program "Country of Joy." 198 children with mild mental retardation, who are brought up in the walls of the orphanage, got their chance for a full active life. But for this, the guys will also have to work hard!

During the 9 months of the program participants are expected to study self-identification in the "Who am I?" Society, master classes in the sport lifestyle, proper nutrition and self-care. Also, during the course, the guys work out the skills of mutual assistance and treatment of money. For each good deed, good evaluation and activity, the student gets honestly earned "denyuzhki" - radicks, which in December he can spend in a detective supermarket for the purchase of necessary things: stationery, hygiene items, clothing, goods for creativity.

In the meantime, new citizens of "Country of Joy" in the Urals "Gorlitsa" only received their pass to the world of useful and interesting skills, activity and health! The first day of study was held under the slogan "I'm active"! By the way, this slogan will become the guiding star of the entire course.

Throughout the day, the guys tried themselves and in the role of wrestlers - in the master class on wrestling, they became real yogis and experienced their flexibility in the master class on zumba! But the greatest interest was caused by jumping! It's so fun - to jump on a trampoline and simultaneously develop your body! A healthy physical body is the basis of mental stability.

Already at the beginning of November, participants of the "Country of Joy" will take part in a healthy diet, and then they will find many interesting and useful master classes aimed at forming healthy habits, correct behavior and communication in society. Each of you can help children from URTS "Gorlitsa" to become even closer to their dream - a full active active life, becoming a volunteer or bringing in material help.
