⠀
According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Ukraine is one of the most mined countries in the world.
⠀
So information on the safe handling of mines and munitions is very relevant today and will remain so, unfortunately, for a very long time.
⠀
Thus, a lecture on anti mine activity and safety for children is a must-have now. The HALO Trust international organization has special scenarios on how to conduct such lectures for children. These lectures are no longer than 35 minutes and include change of activity: dialogue, cartoon, etc.
⠀
A nice bonus to such an "interactive lesson" are various giveaways: coloring pages, stickers, keychains. All of them continue the theme of safety and are aimed at creating new behavioral connections: for example, if you suspect any dangerous object, call an adult or call 101.
⠀
Our country now has one more educational mission: to convey theses about the danger of ammunition and mines to children and teenagers and emphasize correct behavior:
⠀
▪ If you see a potentially dangerous object, call 101 and wait for the emergency services.
▪ Do not take anything unfamiliar in your hands, do not approach suspicious objects.
▪ If you can, move to a safe distance, if not - stay in place until rescuers arrive.
⠀
Take care and be careful!
